DIB (DeJarnette Interface Board)

The DIB is a proprietary, general purpose digital interface board. The board provides for the ability to interface to any medical imaging laser printer which supports 3M P952 (P831) protocol. The board also allows for the interface to any modality which supports 3M P952 (P831) protocol, in a mode which emulates a laser printer, for the capture of image data. The DIB also supports direct interfaces to the Fuji line of CR products and Fuji laser imagers. The DIB provides these Fuji interfaces without the need for the customary external DASM interface. The DIB is a 16 bit parallel interface product in a PCI bus form factor. The DIB also supports RS-422 and RS-232 communications to/from a laser printer.
