With today's modern PACS, there is still a need for routing. PACSware® DICOM Router can be configured to perform "store and forward" routing of images sent into the application.  PACSware® DICOM Router is extremely configurable and can be used to perform image compression/decompression over WAN, image duplication and fanout, as well as routing based on DICOM metadata in the input image stream. 

PACSware® DICOM Router provides the following benefits:
