Today's
modern multi-slice CT scanners produce thousands of images from the top
of the head through the pelvis in a single acquisition, combining multiple
orders into a single study. Normally, PACS associates the CT study with only
one order, effectively orphaning the other orders. This advance in
CT causes problems downstream for the PACS: manual processes must be put
into place to capture billing; CT worklists are confusing; relevant prior
exams are difficult or impossible to find and if found, the radiologist
must sift through a number of irrelevant images before reaching the images
of interest. dyseCT™ solves this workflow headache
by splitting CT studies into their constituent orders using algorithms
that automatically identify anatomical regions. dyseCT™ is
the only automated solution to this problem, in the market today!
dyseCT™
queries the PACS for DICOM modality worklist, identifies studies with
multiple orders, and provides a modified DICOM modality worklist to the CT
scanner. dyseCT™ receives the studies from the CT scanner,
automatically splits the studies and associates each part with the
appropriate order, then sends the split studies to the PACS.
Features:
assigns accession number from the
relevant order and coerces patient demographic data
provides a modified DICOM modality
worklist replacing multiple orders with a single group order that
reduces clutter and confusion
assigns localizer and processed images
to the correct study
configurable anatomical region
overlaps
routing to QC destinations and automatic
fail over destinations
