Sometimes a facility that requires migration service, just doesn't know how many studies require migration.  Sometimes a facility that requires migration service, just doesn't know the quality of their currently stored image data.

DeJarnette's PACS Pre-migration Assessment Service answers these questions.  The service provides a complete count of existing stored imaging studies, by modality type.  The service also sub-samples a number of studies distributed across the storage time frame of the current archive, and evaluates these images to assess data quality.
